'Adulteries' in the Bible

“I have seen your vile and detestable acts,Even your adulteries and your lustful neighings [after idols],And the lewdness of your prostitutionOn the hills in the fields.Woe (judgment is coming) to you, O Jerusalem!How long will you remain unclean [by ignoring My precepts]?”

“Then I said concerning the one (Oholah) worn out by adulteries, ‘Will they now commit adultery with her when she is like this?’

“Contend with your mother (nation); contend,For she is not my wife and I am not her husband;And have her remove her [marks of] prostitution from her faceAnd her adultery from between her breasts
