'Aim' in the Bible
But a man drew his bow without taking special aim and struck the king of Israel through the joints of his armor. So he said to his charioteer, “Turn around and take me out of the battle, for I am badly wounded!”
Then Elisha told the king of Israel, "Aim the bow." He did so, and Elisha placed his hands on the king's hands.

O sons of men, how long will my honor become a reproach? How long will you love what is worthless and aim at deception? Selah.
Instead, you will put them to flightwhen you aim your bow at their faces.
They will vanish like water that flows by;they will aim their useless arrows.
who sharpen their tongues like swordsand aim bitter words like arrows,
They turned back and acted unfaithfully like their fathers; They were twisted like a warped bow [that will not respond to the archer’s aim].
And you have forgotten Yahweh, your maker, who stretched out [the] heavens, and founded [the] earth. And you tremble continually, all day, because of the wrath of the oppressor when he {takes aim} to destroy. But where [is] the wrath of the oppressor?
The Lord of hosts shall defend and protect them; And they will devour [the enemy] and trample down the slingstones [that have missed their mark],And they will drink [of victory] and be boisterous as with wine; And they shall be filled like sacrificial bowls [used to catch the blood],Drenched like the corners of the [sacrificial] altar.
And in that day I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.
