'Armor' in the Bible
Now the day came that Jonathan, the son of Saul, said to the young man who was carrying his armor, “Come and let us cross over to the Philistines’ garrison that is on the other side.” But he did not tell his father.
Then Jonathan said to the young man who was carrying his armor, “Come and let us cross over to the garrison of these uncircumcised; perhaps the Lord will work for us, for the Lord is not restrained to save by many or by few.”
and wore a bronze helmet and bronze scale armor that weighed 125 pounds.
There was bronze armor on his shins, and a bronze sword was slung between his shoulders.

And David took the head of the Philistine, and brought it to Jerusalem; but he put his armor in his tent.
Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was on him and gave it to David, with his armor, including his sword and his bow and his belt.
They cut off Saul’s head, stripped off his armor, and sent messengers throughout the land of the Philistines to spread the good news in the temples of their idols and among the people.
Then they put his armor in the temple of the Ashtoreths and hung his body on the wall of Beth-shan.
