'Comforting' in the Bible

Answer me, O Lord, for Your lovingkindness is sweet and good and comforting;According to the greatness of Your compassion, turn to me.

And He remembered His covenant for their sake,And relented [rescinding their sentence] according to the greatness of His lovingkindness [when they cried out to Him],

“He has brought me to his banqueting place,And his banner over me is love [waving overhead to protect and comfort me].

And the Lord answered the angel who was speaking with me with gracious and comforting words.

The Lord grant mercy to the family of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me and showed me kindness [comforting and reviving me like fresh air] and he was not ashamed of my chains [for Christ’s sake];
