'Confident' in the Bible

Lo, the river overfloweth he startleth not: he is confident though a Jordan break forth against his mouth.

If a host encamp against me, my heart shall not fear; if war rise against me, in this will I be confident.

A wise man feareth and departeth from evil; but the foolish is overbearing and confident.

Therefore we are always confident, and know that while present in the body we are absent from the Lord,

we are confident, I say, and pleased rather to be absent from the body and present with the Lord.

I rejoice that in everything I am confident as to you.

Being confident of thine obedience, I have written to thee, knowing that thou wilt do even more than I say.
