'Courage' in the Bible
Just then some men brought to Him a paralytic lying on a mat. Seeing their faith, Jesus told the paralytic, “Have courage, son, your sins are forgiven.”
But Jesus turned and saw her. “Have courage, daughter,” He said. “Your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that moment.
Immediately Jesus spoke to them. “Have courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”
for they all saw Him and were terrified. Immediately He spoke with them and said, “Have courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”
Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.”So they called the blind man and said to him, “Have courage! Get up; He’s calling for you.”
The following night, the Lord stood by him and said, “Have courage! For as you have testified about Me in Jerusalem, so you must also testify in Rome.”
Now I urge you to take courage, because there will be no loss of any of your lives, but only of the ship.
Therefore, take courage, men, because I believe God that it will be just the way it was told to me.
Now the believers from there had heard the news about us and had come to meet us as far as the Forum of Appius and the Three Taverns. When Paul saw them, he thanked God and took courage.
But Christ was faithful as a Son over His household. And we are that household if we hold on to the courage and the confidence of our hope.
