'Dance' in the Bible

A time to weep and a time to laugh;A time to mourn and a time to dance.

“Come back, come back, O Shulammite;Come back, come back, that we may gaze at you!” “Why should you gaze at the Shulammite,As at the dance of the two companies?

“Then the virgin will rejoice in the dance,And the young men and the old, together,For I will turn their mourning into joyAnd will comfort them and give them joy for their sorrow.

and say, ‘We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not mourn.’

They are like children who sit in the market place and call to one another, and they say, ‘We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not weep.’
