'Dealt' in the Bible

I will sing to the Lord,Because He has dealt bountifully with me.

The Lord has looked down from heaven upon the children of menTo see if there are any who understand (act wisely),Who [truly] seek after God, [longing for His wisdom and guidance].

If I had said, “I will say this,” [and expressed my feelings],I would have betrayed the generation of Your children.

They turned back and acted unfaithfully like their fathers;They were twisted like a warped bow [that will not respond to the archer’s aim].

O Lord, You have [at last] shown favor to Your land [of Canaan];You have restored [from Babylon] the captives of Jacob (Israel).

He has not dealt with us according to our sins [as we deserve],Nor rewarded us [with punishment] according to our wickedness.

Return to your rest, O my soul,For the Lord has dealt bountifully with you.

Teth.You have dealt well with Your servant,O Lord, according to Your promise.

Let the arrogant be ashamed and humiliated, for they sabotage me with a lie;But I will meditate on Your precepts.

He has not dealt this way with any [other] nation;They have not known [understood, appreciated, heeded, or cherished] His ordinances.Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!)
