'Drinks' in the Bible
And the scribes and the Pharisees, seeing him eating with sinners and tax-gatherers, said to his disciples, Why is it that he eats and drinks with tax-gatherers and sinners?
Jesus answered and said to her, Every one who drinks of this water shall thirst again;
but whosoever drinks of the water which I shall give him shall never thirst for ever, but the water which I shall give him shall become in him a fountain of water, springing up into eternal life.
He that eats my flesh and drinks my blood has life eternal, and I will raise him up at the last day:
He that eats my flesh and drinks my blood dwells in me and I in him.
For each one in eating takes his own supper before others, and one is hungry and another drinks to excess.
For the eater and drinker eats and drinks judgment to himself, not distinguishing the body.
For ground which drinks the rain which comes often upon it, and produces useful herbs for those for whose sakes also it is tilled, partakes of blessing from God;
