'Ears' in the Bible

A word was brought to me in secret;my ears caught a whisper of it.

Look, my eyes have seen all this;my ears have heard and understood it.

Pay close attention to my words;let my declaration ring in your ears.

Dreadful sounds fill his ears;when he is at peace, a robber attacks him.

Abaddon and Death say,“We have heard news of it with our ears.”

He uncovers their ears at that timeand terrifies them with warnings,

He opens their ears to correctionand insists they repent from iniquity.
