'End' in the Bible

“He catches the [so-called] wise in their own shrewdness,And the advice of the devious is quickly thwarted.

“Though your beginning was insignificant,Yet your end will greatly increase.

“Is there no end to [your futile] words of wind?Or what plagues you [so much] that you [so boldly] answer [me like this]?

“Is not your wickedness great,And your sins without end?

“Man puts an end to darkness [by bringing in a light],And to the farthest bounds he searches outThe rock buried in gloom and deep shadow.

‘Job ought to be tried to the limitBecause he answers like wicked men!
