'Fade' in the Bible
Indeed, they soon will wither like grass, and like green herbs they will fade away.
All our days pass away in your wrath; our years fade away and end like a sigh.
The valleys will be split, all the stars in the heavens will fall down, and the skies will be rolled up like a scroll. All their starry host will fade away like leaves withering on a vine, or fruit withering on a fig tree.

For the sun comes up with its scorching heat and dries up the grass. The flower in it drops off, and its beauty is gone. That is how the rich person will fade away in his pursuits.
Then, when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the victor's crown of glory that will never fade away.
