'Fate' in the Bible

If these men die naturally as all people would, and suffer the fate of all, then the Lord has not sent me.

If only they were wise, they would figure it out;they would understand their fate.

Mordecai told the messenger to reply to Esther, “Don’t think that you will escape the fate of all the Jews because you are in the king’s palace.

Those in the west are appalled at his fate,while those in the east tremble in horror.

In the evening—sudden terror!Before morning—it is gone!This is the fate of those who plunder usand the lot of those who ravage us.

He was taken away because of oppression and judgment;and who considered His fate?For He was cut off from the land of the living;He was struck because of my people’s rebellion.

Why are we just sitting here?Gather together; let us enter the fortified citiesand perish there,for the Lord our God has destroyed us.He has given us poisoned water to drink,because we have sinned against the Lord.

My eyes bring me griefbecause of the fate of all the women in my city.
