'Filled' in the Bible
From men with Your hand, O Lord,From men of the world [these moths of the night] whose portion [of enjoyment] is in this life—idle and vain,And whose belly You fill with Your treasure;They are satisfied with children,And they leave what they have left [of wealth] to their children.
For my sides are filled with burning,And there is no health in my flesh.
For I do confess my guilt and iniquity;I am filled with anxiety because of my sin.
My mouth is filled with Your praiseAnd with Your glory all day long.
Blessed be His glorious name forever;And may the whole earth be filled with His glory.Amen and Amen.
So they ate and were well filled,He gave them what they craved.
You cleared away the ground before it,And it took deep root and filled the land.
The trees of the Lord drink their fill,The cedars of Lebanon which He has planted,
You give it to them, they gather it up;You open Your hand, they are filled and satisfied with good [things].
Our soul is greatly filledWith the scoffing of those who are at ease,And with the contempt of the proud [who disregard God’s law].
Then our mouth was filled with laughterAnd our tongue with joyful shouting;Then they said among the nations,“The Lord has done great things for them.”
How blessed [happy and fortunate] is the man whose quiver is filled with them;They will not be ashamedWhen they speak with their enemies [in gatherings] at the [city] gate.
