'Fruit' in the Bible
"'When you enter the land and plant any fruit tree, you must consider its fruit to be forbidden. Three years it will be forbidden to you; it must not be eaten.
In the fourth year all its fruit will be holy, praise offerings to the Lord.
Then in the fifth year you may eat its fruit to add its produce to your harvest. I am the Lord your God.
"'The land will give its fruit and you may eat until you are satisfied, and you may live securely in the land.
I will give you your rains in their time so that the land will give its yield and the trees of the field will produce their fruit.
Your strength will be used up in vain, your land will not give its yield, and the trees of the land will not produce their fruit.
"'Any tithe of the land, from the grain of the land or from the fruit of the trees, belongs to the Lord; it is holy to the Lord.
