'Groans' in the Bible
Jerusalem sinned greatly,Therefore she has become an unclean thing.All who honored her despise herBecause they have seen her nakedness;Even she herself groans and turns away.
“Let all their wickedness come before You;And deal with them as You have dealt with meFor all my transgressions;For my groans are many and my heart is faint.”
I have certainly seen the oppression of My people in Egypt and have heard their groans, and I have come down to rescue them; come now, and I will send you to Egypt.’
For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now.
