'Later' in the Bible
And he answered [and] said, 'I do not want to!' But later [he] changed his mind [and] went.
For John came to you in the way of righteousness and you did not believe him, but the tax collectors and the prostitutes did believe him. And [when] you saw [it], you did not even change your minds later [so as] to believe in him.
And later the other virgins came also, saying, 'Lord, lord, open [the door] for us!'
And later, [while] they were reclining at table, he appeared to the eleven. And he reprimanded their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen him [after he] had been raised.
Simon Peter said to him, "Lord, where are you going?" Jesus replied, "Where I am going you cannot follow me now, but you will follow later."
Now all discipline seems for the moment not to be joyful but painful, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness for those who are trained by it.
