'Lust' in the Bible

But I tell you, everyone who looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

The males in the same way also left natural relations with females and were inflamed in their lust for one another. Males committed shameless acts with males and received in their own persons the appropriate penalty of their error.

Therefore, put to death what belongs to your worldly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desire, and greed, which is idolatry.

For everything that belongs to the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride in one’s lifestyle—is not from the Father, but is from the world.

And the world with its lust is passing away, but the one who does God’s will remains forever.
