'Luxury' in the Bible

Daughters of Israel, weep over Saul! He clothed you in scarlet luxury and decorated your garments with gold.

May their table [with all its abundance and luxury] become a snare [to them];And when they are in peace [secure at their sacrificial feasts], may it become a trap.

Luxury is not appropriate for a fool—how much less for a slave to rule over princes!

Whoever loves money will never have enough money. Whoever loves luxury will not be content with abundance. This also is pointless.

Against all the ships of TarshishAnd against all the beautiful craft.
