'Overheard' in the Bible

Now Rebekah overheard Isaac while he was speaking to his son Esau. When Esau had gone out to the field to hunt and bring in some game,

Rebekah said to her son Jacob, "Look, I overheard your father tell your brother Esau,

What David said was overheard and reported to Saul, so he had David brought to him.

When all the officials came to Jeremiah and questioned him, he replied to them exactly as the king had ordered him. So they stopped speaking with him because the conversation had not been overheard.

But when Jesus overheard what was said, He told the synagogue leader, “Don’t be afraid. Only believe.”
