'Overtaken' in the Bible

Moses sent messengers from Kadesh to the king of Edom, “This is what your brother Israel says, ‘You know all the hardships that have overtaken us.

For the thing I feared has overtaken me,and what I dreaded has happened to me.

For troubles without number have surrounded me;my sins have overtaken me; I am unable to see.They are more than the hairs of my head,and my courage leaves me.

Trouble and distress have overtaken me,but Your commands are my delight.
