'Pastures' in the Bible

He makes me lie down in green pastures;He leads me beside quiet waters.

But the wicked will perish;And the enemies of the Lord will be like the glory of the pastures,They vanish—like smoke they vanish away.

The pastures of the wilderness drip,And the hills gird themselves with rejoicing.

Who said, “Let us possess for ourselvesThe pastures of God.”

“My beloved is mine, and I am his;He pastures his flock among the lilies.

“I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine,He who pastures his flock among the lilies.”

“For the mountains I will take up a weeping and wailing,And for the pastures of the wilderness a dirge,Because they are laid waste so that no one passes through,And the lowing of the cattle is not heard;Both the birds of the sky and the beasts have fled; they are gone.

For the land is full of adulterers;For the land mourns because of the curse.The pastures of the wilderness have dried up.Their course also is evilAnd their might is not right.

Is it too slight a thing for you that you should feed in the good pasture, that you must tread down with your feet the rest of your pastures? Or that you should drink of the clear waters, that you must foul the rest with your feet?

To You, O Lord, I cry;For fire has devoured the pastures of the wildernessAnd the flame has burned up all the trees of the field.

Even the beasts of the field pant for You;For the water brooks are dried upAnd fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness.

Do not fear, beasts of the field,For the pastures of the wilderness have turned green,For the tree has borne its fruit,The fig tree and the vine have yielded in full.

So the seacoast will be pastures,With caves for shepherds and folds for flocks.
