'Patiently' in the Bible

Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him;Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way,Because of the man who carries out wicked schemes.

For the choir director. A Psalm of David.I waited patiently for the Lord;And He inclined to me and heard my cry.

especially because you are an expert in all customs and questions among the Jews; therefore I beg you to listen to me patiently.

And so, having patiently waited, he obtained the promise.

For what credit is there if, when you sin and are harshly treated, you endure it with patience? But if when you do what is right and suffer for it you patiently endure it, this finds favor with God.
