For the music director, Jeduthun; a psalm of David. For God alone I patiently wait; he is the one who delivers me.

He who tends the fig tree will eat its fruit,And he who faithfully protects and cares for his master will be honored.

I waited patiently until morning. He breaks all my bones like a lion. From day even to night you will make an end of me.
