'Preparation' in the Bible
Upon man's flesh shall it not be poured, neither shall ye make any like it, after the preparation of it: it is holy holy shall it be unto you.
For David said, Solomon my son is young and tender, and the house that is to be built for Jehovah must be exceeding great in fame and in beauty in all lands: I will therefore make preparation for it. And David prepared abundantly before his death.
The shield of his mighty men is made red, the valiant men are in scarlet: the chariots glitter with the sheen of steel, in the day of his preparation, and the spears are brandished.
Now on the morrow, which is after the preparation, the chief priests and the Pharisees came together to Pilate,

There therefore, on account of the preparation of the Jews, because the tomb was near, they laid Jesus.
