'Punish' in the Bible

"I am about to punish them in such a way," he says, "that they will be looted by their own slaves." Then you will know that the Lord who rules over all has sent me.

For thus saith the LORD of hosts; As I thought to punish you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith the LORD of hosts, and I repented not:

My anger burns against the shepherds,so I will punish the leaders.For the Lord of Hosts has tended His flock,the house of Judah;He will make them like His majestic steed in battle.
