'Rain' in the Bible

This is why the showers haven’t come—why there has been no spring rain.You have the brazen look of a prostituteand refuse to be ashamed.

They have not said to themselves,‘Let’s fear the Lord our God,who gives the rain, both early and late, in its season,who guarantees to us the fixed weeks of the harvest.’

When He thunders,the waters in the heavens are in turmoil,and He causes the clouds to risefrom the ends of the earth.He makes lightning for the rainand brings the wind from His storehouses.

The ground is crackedsince no rain has fallen on the land.The farmers are ashamed;they cover their heads.

Can any of the worthless idols of the nations bring rain?Or can the skies alone give showers?Are You not the Lord our God?We therefore put our hope in You,for You have done all these things.
