'Remember' in the Bible
"Please, Lord. Remember how I have served you faithfully and with wholehearted devotion, and how I have carried out your will." Then Hezekiah wept bitterly.
"Don't remember these earlier events; don't recall these former events.
I, I am the one who blots out your rebellious deeds for my sake; your sins I do not remember.
Remember these things, O Jacob, O Israel, for you are my servant. I formed you to be my servant; O Israel, I will not forget you!
Remember what I accomplished in antiquity! Truly I am God, I have no peer; I am God, and there is none like me,
Don't be afraid, for you will not be put to shame! Don't be intimidated, for you will not be humiliated! You will forget about the shame you experienced in your youth; you will no longer remember the disgrace of your abandonment.
Whom are you worried about? Whom do you fear, that you would act so deceitfully and not remember me or think about me? Because I have been silent for so long, you are not afraid of me.
