'Report' in the Bible
He sent them to Bethlehem and said, “Go and search carefully for the child. When you find Him, report back to me so that I too can go and worship Him.”
Jesus replied to them, “Go and report to John what you hear and see:
At that time Herod the tetrarch heard the report about Jesus.
But He would not let him; instead, He told him, “Go back home to your own people, and report to them how much the Lord has done for you and how He has had mercy on you.”
This report about Him went throughout Judea and all the vicinity.
He replied to them, “Go and report to John the things you have seen and heard: The blind receive their sight, the lame walk, those with skin diseases are healed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor are told the good news.
The chief priests and the Pharisees had given orders that if anyone knew where He was, he should report it so they could arrest Him.
So this report spread to the brothers that this disciple would not die. Yet Jesus did not tell him that he would not die, but, “If I want him to remain until I come, what is that to you?”
Then the report about them was heard by the church that was at Jerusalem, and they sent out Barnabas to travel as far as Antioch.
Motioning to them with his hand to be silent, he explained to them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. “Report these things to James and the brothers,” he said. Then he departed and went to a different place.
Therefore we have sent Judas and Silas, who will personally report the same things by word of mouth.
Then Paul called one of the centurions and said, “Take this young man to the commander, because he has something to report to him.”
Then the commander took him by the hand, led him aside, and inquired privately, “What is it you have to report to me?”
but, as it is written:Those who were not told about Him will see,and those who have not heard will understand.
The report of your obedience has reached everyone. Therefore I rejoice over you. But I want you to be wise about what is good, yet innocent about what is evil.
through glory and dishonor,through slander and good report;as deceivers yet true;
for they themselves report what kind of reception we had from you: how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God
