'Rumbling' in the Bible

Listen carefully to the thunder of his voice, to the rumbling that proceeds from his mouth.

Fathers will hear the hoofbeats of the enemies' horses, the clatter of their chariots and the rumbling of their wheels. They will not turn back to save their children because they will be paralyzed with fear.

Then a wind lifted me up and I heard a great rumbling sound behind me as the glory of the Lord rose from its place,

and the sound of the living beings' wings brushing against each other, and the sound of the wheels alongside them, a great rumbling sound.

They sound like chariots rumbling over mountain tops, like the crackling of blazing fire consuming stubble, like the noise of a mighty army being drawn up for battle.
