'Run' in the Bible

And having run the ships on shore, leaving all they followed him.

which having hoisted up, they used helps, frapping the ship; and fearing lest they should run into Syrtis and run aground, and having lowered the gear they were so driven.

And when it was day they did not recognise the land; but they perceived a certain bay having a strand, on which they were minded, if they should be able, to run the ship ashore;

Know ye not that they who run in the race-course run all, but one receives the prize? Thus run in order that ye may obtain.

I therefore thus run, as not uncertainly; so I combat, as not beating the air.

and I went up according to revelation, and I laid before them the glad tidings which I preach among the nations, but privately to those conspicuous among them, lest in any way I run or had run in vain;
