'Sea' in the Bible

“Am I the sea, or the sea monster,That You set a guard over me?

Who alone stretches out the heavensAnd tramples down the waves of the sea;

“Its measure is longer than the earthAnd broader than the sea.

“Or speak to the earth, and let it teach you;And let the fish of the sea declare to you.

“As water evaporates from the sea,And a river becomes parched and dried up,

“He quieted the sea with His power,And by His understanding He shattered Rahab.

“The deep says, ‘It is not in me’;And the sea says, ‘It is not with me.’

“Behold, He spreads His lightning about Him,And He covers the depths of the sea.

“Or who enclosed the sea with doorsWhen, bursting forth, it went out from the womb;

“Have you entered into the springs of the seaOr walked in the recesses of the deep?

“He makes the depths boil like a pot;He makes the sea like a jar of ointment.
