'Stands' in the Bible

Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked [following their advice and example],Nor stand in the path of sinners,Nor sit [down to rest] in the seat of scoffers (ridiculers).

My foot stands on a level place;In the congregations I will bless the Lord.

The counsel of the Lord stands forever,The thoughts and plans of His heart through all generations.

Kings’ daughters are among Your noble ladies;At Your right hand stands the queen in gold from Ophir.
