'Swooping' in the Bible
"The LORD will raise a distant nation against you from the other side of the earth. Swooping down like a vulture,
They would invade with their livestock and tents, swooping in as numerous as locusts. It was impossible to count them or their camels and they came into the land to destroy it.
They sweep by like boats made of papyrus, like an eagle swooping down on its prey.
Look! It will be like an eagle soaring upward, then swooping down and spreading its wings over Bozrah. In that day the hearts of Edom’s warriors will be like the heart of a woman with contractions.
Their horses are swifter than leopardsand more fierce than wolves of the night.Their horsemen charge ahead;their horsemen come from distant lands. They fly like an eagle, swooping to devour.
