'Testifies' in the Bible
There is another [My Father] who testifies about Me, and I know [without any doubt] that His testimony on My behalf is true and valid.
I am One [of the Two] who testifies about Myself, and My Father who sent Me testifies about Me.”
The Spirit Himself testifies and confirms together with our spirit [assuring us] that we [believers] are children of God.
This is our [reason for] proud confidence: our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world [in general], and especially toward you, with pure motives and godly sincerity, not in human wisdom, but in the grace of God [that is, His gracious lovingkindness that leads people to Christ and spiritual maturity].
He who testifies and affirms these things says, “Yes, I am coming quickly.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
