'Threw' in the Bible
He made a whip of cords, and threw all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and he poured out the changers' money, and overthrew their tables.
Jesus said, “Have the people sit down [to eat].” Now [the ground] there was [covered with] an abundance of grass, so the men sat down, about 5,000 in number.
“You were born entirely in sin,” they replied, “and are you trying to teach us?” Then they threw him out.
"I believe, Sir," he said. And he threw himself at His feet.
rose from the table, threw off His upper garments, and took a towel and tied it round Him.
The soldiers also twisted together a crown of thorns, put it on His head, and threw a purple robe around Him.
So they told each other, "Let's not tear it. Instead, let's throw dice to see who gets it." This was to fulfill the Scripture that says, "They divided my clothes among themselves, and for my clothing they threw dice." So that is what the soldiers did.
He told them, "Throw the net on the right hand side of the boat, and you'll catch some." So they threw it out and were unable to haul it in because it was so full of fish.
