'Thus' in the Bible

Thus I have seen You in the sanctuary,To see Your power and Your glory.

You visit the earth and cause it to overflow;You greatly enrich it;The stream of God is full of water;You prepare their grain, for thus You prepare the earth.

If I had said, “I will speak thus,”Behold, I would have betrayed the generation of Your children.

Thus He remembered that they were but flesh,A wind that passes and does not return.

Israel also came into Egypt;Thus Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.

Thus He rebuked the Red Sea and it dried up,And He led them through the deeps, as through the wilderness.

Thus they exchanged their gloryFor the image of an ox that eats grass.

Thus they provoked Him to anger with their deeds,And the plague broke out among them.

Thus they became unclean in their practices,And played the harlot in their deeds.

Thus they have repaid me evil for goodAnd hatred for my love.

Behold, for thus shall the man be blessedWho fears the Lord.

He has not dealt thus with any nation;And as for His ordinances, they have not known them.Praise the Lord!
