'Times' in the Bible

Then the Lord replied to him, “In that case, whoever kills Cain will suffer vengeance seven times over.” And He placed a mark on Cain so that whoever found him would not kill him.

If Cain is to be avenged seven times over,then for Lamech it will be seventy-seven times!

Isaac sowed seed in that land, and in that year he reaped a hundred times what was sown. The Lord blessed him,

and that he has cheated me and changed my wages 10 times. But God has not let him harm me.

For 20 years I have worked in your household—14 years for your two daughters and six years for your flocks—and you have changed my wages 10 times!

He himself went on ahead and bowed to the ground seven times until he approached his brother.

Portions were served to them from Joseph’s table, and Benjamin’s portion was five times larger than any of theirs. They drank, and they got intoxicated with Joseph.
