'Try' in the Bible

That You examine him every morningAnd try him every moment?

“For it will hurl at him without sparing;He will surely try to flee from its power.

Examine me, O Lord, and try me;Test my mind and my heart.

Search me, O God, and know my heart;Try me and know my anxious thoughts;

Then he said, “Listen now, O house of David! Is it too slight a thing for you to try the patience of men, that you will try the patience of my God as well?

Therefore I say, “Turn your eyes away from me,Let me weep bitterly,Do not try to comfort me concerning the destruction of the daughter of my people.”

“You will eat, but you will not be satisfied,And your vileness will be in your midst.You will try to remove for safekeeping,But you will not preserve anything,And what you do preserve I will give to the sword.
