'Unclean' in the Bible
Crowds continued coming in even from the towns around Jerusalem bringing their sick and those who were troubled by unclean spirits, and all of them were healed.
Unclean spirits screamed with a loud voice as they came out of the many people they had possessed, and many paralyzed and lame people were healed.
But Peter said, "Absolutely not, Lord, for I have never eaten anything that is common or unclean!"
Again the voice came to him a second time, "You must stop calling unclean what God has made clean."
He told them, "You understand how wrong it is for a Jew to associate or visit with unbelievers. But God has shown me that I should stop calling anyone common or unclean,
But I replied, "Absolutely not, Lord, for nothing common or unclean has ever entered my mouth!'
