'Wrong doing' in the Bible
“For if you forgive people their wrongdoing, your heavenly Father will forgive you as well.
But if you don’t forgive people, your Father will not forgive your wrongdoing.
Or, have you not read in the law of Moses that the priests in the Temple defiled the Sabbath day [i.e., by doing the 'work' of offering sacrifices] and were not held guilty [of wrongdoing]? [See Num. 28:9-10]
If you had [fully] understood what this means: 'I desire mercy and not [only] sacrifice,' you would not have condemned someone who was not guilty [of wrongdoing].
The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all those who cause wrongdoing, and the wrongdoers,
Even so you seem to men to be full of righteousness, but inside you are all false and full of wrongdoing.
And because wrongdoing will be increased, the love of most people will become cold.
