'Abhors' in the Bible
if, instead, you reject My statutes, and if your soul abhors My ordinances so as not to carry out all My commandments, and so break My covenant,
You destroy those who tell lies;the Lord abhors a man of bloodshed and treachery.
The Lord tests the righteous and the wicked,And His soul hates the [malevolent] one who loves violence.

The one who says not to commit adultery, do you commit adultery? The one who abhors idols, do you rob temples?
