'Acquires' in the Bible
If a priest acquires a slave as property with his own money, he may eat with him. Those who were born in his house may eat his food.
Happy is a man who finds wisdomand who acquires understanding,
A [flippant, arrogant] fool rejects his father’s instruction and correction,But he who [is willing to learn and] regards and keeps in mind a reprimand acquires good sense.
Anyone who ignores discipline despises himself,but whoever listens to correction acquires good sense.
