'Away' in the Bible

“Contend with your mother, contend,For she is not my wife, and I am not her husband;And let her put away her harlotry from her faceAnd her adultery from between her breasts,

“Therefore, I will take back My grain at harvest timeAnd My new wine in its season.I will also take away My wool and My flaxGiven to cover her nakedness.

Harlotry, wine and new wine take away the understanding.

For I will be like a lion to EphraimAnd like a young lion to the house of Judah.I, even I, will tear to pieces and go away,I will carry away, and there will be none to deliver.

I will go away and return to My placeUntil they acknowledge their guilt and seek My face;In their affliction they will earnestly seek Me.

What shall I do with you, O Ephraim?What shall I do with you, O Judah?For your loyalty is like a morning cloudAnd like the dew which goes away early.

And they do not cry to Me from their heartWhen they wail on their beds;For the sake of grain and new wine they assemble themselves,They turn away from Me.

As for Ephraim, their glory will fly away like a bird—No birth, no pregnancy and no conception!

My God will cast them awayBecause they have not listened to Him;And they will be wanderers among the nations.

Therefore they will be like the morning cloudAnd like dew which soon disappears,Like chaff which is blown away from the threshing floorAnd like smoke from a chimney.

I gave you a king in My angerAnd took him away in My wrath.

Take words with you and return to the Lord.Say to Him, “Take away all iniquityAnd receive us graciously,That we may present the fruit of our lips.

I will heal their apostasy,I will love them freely,For My anger has turned away from them.
