'Bars' in the Bible
“Then you shall make [fifteen] bars of acacia wood: five for the boards of one side of the tabernacle,
and five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the rear end of the tabernacle, for the back wall toward the west.
You shall overlay the boards with gold and make their rings of gold to hold the bars. You shall overlay the bars with gold.
the tabernacle (sacred dwelling of God), its tent and its covering, its hooks, its boards, its bars, its pillars, and its sockets;
Bezalel made bars of acacia wood, five for the [frame] boards of the one side of the tabernacle,

He rebuilt it and covered it [with a roof], and set up its doors with its bolts and its bars, and [he rebuilt] the wall of the Pool of Shelah (Siloam) by the King’s Garden as far as the stairs that descend [the eastern slope] from [the section of Jerusalem known as] the City of David.
“Will my hope go down with me to Sheol (the nether world, the place of the dead)?Shall we go down together in the dust?”
And marked for it My [appointed] boundaryAnd set bars and doors [defining the shorelines],
“His bones are tubes of bronze;His limbs are like bars of iron.
For He has shattered the gates of bronzeAnd cut the bars of iron apart.
For He has strengthened the bars of your gates,He has blessed your children within you.
A brother offended is harder to win over than a fortified city,And contentions [separating families] are like the bars of a castle.
“I will go before you and level the mountains;I will shatter the doors of bronze and cut through the bars of iron.
Thus says the Lord to me, “Make for yourself bonds and yokes and put them on your neck,

“Go and tell Hananiah, ‘The Lord says this, “You have broken yokes of wood, but you have made in their place bars of iron.”
“Arise [Nebuchadnezzar], go up against a nation which is at ease,Which lives securely,” says the Lord,“A nation which has neither gates nor bars;They dwell apart and alone.
The mighty warriors of Babylon have ceased to fight;They remain in their strongholds.Their strength and power have failed;They are becoming [weak and helpless] like women.Their dwelling places are set on fire;The bars on her gates are broken.
Her gates have sunk into the ground;He has destroyed and broken her bars.Her king and her princes are [exiled] among the nations;The law is no more.Also, her prophets no longer findVision from the Lord.
Also the tree of the field will yield its fruit and the earth will yield its produce; and My people will be secure on their land. Then they will know [with confidence] that I am the Lord, when I have broken the bars of their yoke and have rescued them from the hand of those who made them slaves.
and you will say, ‘I will go up against an open country; I will come against those who are at rest and peaceful, who live securely, all of them living without walls and having neither bars nor gates,
The sword will whirl against and fall on their cities,And will demolish the bars of their gates and fortificationsAnd will consume them because of their counsels.
“I descended to the [very] roots of the mountains.The earth with its bars closed behind me [bolting me in] forever,Yet You have brought up my life from the pit (death), O Lord my God.
Behold, your people are [as weak and helpless as] women in your midst!The gates of your land are opened wide to your enemies;Fire consumes the bars across your gates.
