'Behalf' in the Bible

Make a just decision on my behalf! Decide what is right!

He is the God who executes vengeance on my behalf; who destroys nations under me;

My heart says this about You,“You are to seek My face.”Lord, I will seek Your face.

Commit your future to the Lord! Trust in him, and he will act on your behalf.

Appear in your majesty and be victorious! Ride forth for the sake of what is right, on behalf of justice! Then your right hand will accomplish mighty acts!

I will cry to God Most High,Who accomplishes all things on my behalf [for He completes my purpose in His plan].

Come and see the awesome works of God on behalf of human beings:

Your God has decreed your strength.Show Your strength, God,You who have acted on our behalf.

Judge [on behalf of the] helpless and [the] orphan; provide justice [to the] afflicted and [the] poor.

He allowed no one to oppress them;He rebuked kings on their behalf:

Let them give thanks to the LORD for his gracious love and for his awesome deeds on behalf of mankind.

O sovereign Lord, intervene on my behalf for the sake of your reputation! Because your loyal love is good, deliver me!

For his loyal love [is] mighty on our behalf, and the faithfulness of Yahweh [is] forever. Praise Yah!
