'Blessed' in the Bible
Then He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed and broke the loaves. He kept giving them to His disciples to set before the people. He also divided the two fish among them all.
They also had a few small fish, and when He had blessed them, He said these were to be served as well.
After taking them in His arms, He laid His hands on them and blessed them.
Then those who went ahead and those who followed kept shouting:Hosanna! He who comes in the nameof the Lord is the blessed One!
The coming kingdomof our father David is blessed!Hosanna in the highest heaven!
As they were eating, He took bread, blessed and broke it, gave it to them, and said, “Take it; this is My body.”
But He kept silent and did not answer anything. Again the high priest questioned Him, “Are You the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?”
