'Called' in the Bible
Immediately He called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men and followed Him.
Then His mother and His brothers came, and standing outside, they sent word to Him and called Him.
Sitting down, He called the Twelve and said to them, “If anyone wants to be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.”
Jesus called them over and said to them, “You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles dominate them, and their men of high positions exercise power over them.
Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.”So they called the blind man and said to him, “Have courage! Get up; He’s calling for you.”
Then He began to teach them: “Is it not written, My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations? But you have made it a den of thieves!”
Then the soldiers led Him away into the courtyard (that is, headquarters) and called the whole company together.
And they brought Jesus to the place called Golgotha (which means Skull Place).
