'Companions' in the Bible

You have loved righteousnessand hated lawlessness;this is why God, Your God,has anointed Youwith the oil of joyrather than Your companions.

Therefore, holy brothers and companions in a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession;

For we have become companions of the Messiah if we hold firmly until the end the reality that we had at the start.

For it is impossible to renew to repentance those who were once enlightened, who tasted the heavenly gift, became companions with the Holy Spirit,

Sometimes you were publicly exposed to taunts and afflictions, and at other times you were companions of those who were treated that way.
