'Cook' in the Bible

The first of the firstfruits of your soil you must bring to the house of the Lord your God. "You must not cook a young goat in its mother's milk.

"You are to take the ram of the consecration and cook its meat in a holy place.

"The first of the firstfruits of your soil you must bring to the house of the Lord your God. You must not cook a young goat in its mother's milk."

You must cook and eat it in the place the Lord your God chooses; you may return the next morning to your tents.

Samuel said to the cook, "Give me the portion of meat that I gave to you -- the one I asked you to keep with you."

So the cook picked up the leg and brought it and set it in front of Saul. Samuel said, "What was kept is now set before you! Eat, for it has been kept for you for this meeting time, from the time I said, 'I have invited the people.'" So Saul ate with Samuel that day.

So he said to me, "All right then, I will substitute cow's manure instead of human excrement. You will cook your food over it."

Pile up the bones, kindle the fire; cook the meat well, mix in the spices, let the bones be charred.
